Phi Kappa Phi Awards Summary

 

Phi Kappa Phi promotes academic excellence by funding many scholarships and grants. More than $1 million is awarded each biennium to outstanding members and chapters through the Society’s various award competitions.

Fellowships

(57 Distributed Annually)

Each year Phi Kappa Phi awards fifty-one Fellowships of $5,000 each and six valued at $15,000 each to members entering their first year ofgraduate or professional study. Each chapter may select one candidate from among its local applicants to compete for Society-wide awards. Click here for the chapter fellowship application and more details.

Dissertation Fellowships

(10 Distributed Annually)

The Dissertation Fellowship program is new to The Society and is intended to support doctoral candidates who are writing dissertations. Phi Kappa Phi awards ten Dissertation Fellowships of $10,000 per year.  Click here for the dissertation fellowship application and more details.

Study Abroad Grants

(75 Distributed Annually)

Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad Grants are designed to help support undergraduates as they seek knowledge and experience in their academic fields by studying abroad. Love of Learning Awards

(200 Distributed Annually)

Love ofLearning Awards help find post-baccalaureate studies and/or career development for active Phi Kappa Phi members to include, but not be limited to, graduate or professional studies, doctoral dissertations, continuing education, career development, travel related to teaching or studies, etc. Fellowship recipients are not eligible to apply. Two hundred awards valued at $500 each are presented annually, in two cycles.  Click here for Love of Learning application and more details.
